Murrough McMahon

Murrough was formerly a partner at a top twenty law firm. He has extensive and broad-ranging
expertise across all areas of litigation and dispute resolution procedures including arbitration,
conciliation, and mediation.

He has considerable experience in handling complex commercial cases within the expedited
case management procedures of the Commercial and Competition Courts.
He has expertise in areas of professional negligence, banking and financial services,
defamation, employer’s liability, public liability, product liability, injunctions, Norwich
Pharmacal type orders and judicial review including public procurement challenges.
He is focused on trying to resolve disputes before they get to litigation.

Murrough proudly served as Chair, and before that Secretary, of the Board of the National
Children’s Hospital Foundation, Tallaght University Hospital in a voluntary capacity for nine
years.

He was a Client Choice Awards winner in 2018 for Professional Negligence in Ireland and in
2014 for Litigation in Ireland.
